Legend

This BMI (Body Mass Index) table has been created especially for our Australian and New Zealand customers, however, it can also be used for most other western countries, such as South Africa, USA, Canada and Northern Europe, due to similarities in average height.

a. is the low weight collumn. If you fall into this categorie, you are most likely underweight and should see your GP to get professional medical advice.

b. this is the target collumn. We at MyShop.net.au believe it is better to be a little bit on the larger side, than on the low weight size. Furthermore, many people are actually overweight and targetting this collumn will be more achievable and realistic for those who are. We also highlighted this collumn in green for easy referencing.

c. this is the start of being overweight and you should implement some dietary changes to reduce your BMI.

d. this is were being overweight turns to being obese. Please implement risk reduction strategies today.

e. this is the row where the lower height average of Australian females begins. This colouration is provided to assist with providing a better focus point.

f. this is the upper height for the average Australian males.
